Default Sugar-free boxed candy

Hey-we all know at least one other low carber this holiday season. I was at Albertson's grocery store and found boxed sugar-free candy. Russell Stover and Whitman both have a variety of sizes and combinations from $5.99 and up. They are full of sugar alcohols, but at least they're legal! I'm taking a few to work for my Atkin's buddies.

We have a candy hog at work. I had an evil thought of pulling the candy out of it's package on a nice plate and let him pig out. He'd never know just what hit him!

Maybe it was just me, but the SF Russell Stovers had an even worse effect on me than the SF Hersheys.
My "secret Santa" at work (a non-low carber) went out of her way to get me a SF Hershey's assortment as my gift. I would have put them out for my co-workers to snack on, but I just didn't have the heart to do that to them right before the last shopping weekend before Christmas (even the ones I don't like)!
Ah, well...it's the thought that counts and I can tolerate them one or at the most 2 pieces a day.

the sugar free RS is great for me. Its like a very mild laxative. The peanutbutter cups keep me awake at night in pain

Speaking of which, I had my SF candy at the mall today. Lets just say I dont feel quite as bloated anymore. I will ask my DH to buy the SF Russell Stovers boxed candy for my stocking this year.

...and the Charmin was hung by the chimney with care, in hopes that Immodium soon would be there.

When out by the privvy, there arose such a clatter, I sprang to the outhouse to see what's the matter.

When what to my wondering eyes should appear, but a miniature sleigh full of sugarfree gear.

A lively old man, moving so quick, I knew in an instant what made him so sick...

With a groan and a scream from inside of the stall...
A merry Christmas to you from our friend, Lactitol.

There was a sugar free whitman's sampler as well as Russle Stovers at walmart. I am very tempted to get a box. I just wish they were made with something other then malitol. Why can't other things besides carb slim bites use that new SA

I went to a store that had all kinds of gormet SF cady. All malitol almost of course. I decided it wasn't worth the tummy ache. I picked up some tea and some devinshire double cream. I just have to figure out what to do with the cream (I know I've seen it in a recipe somewhere)
