What a wonderful idea!
After your post on Friday I purchased a digital scale on Saturday. The cost was $60 (10 yr warrenty!) and well worth it for any Zoner. I can not believe how much you can misjudge a measurement. I am finding in the past 2 days a lot of my misjudging was that I was using too little of one particular ingredient.
Some examples for me were in the mornings I have 1/2 scoop Genisoy Shake and 1 block of fat from Halved Almonds.
Genisoy measures: for 1 scoop (39 grams) = 2P, 2C
*so I would use 1/2 scoop =1P, 1C
Halved Almonds: for 1F =6 grams
*so I would use the Zone block meathod 2 tsp instead
I found using the digital scale that I was under-weighing both the shake and the almonds.
Not to mention when I sprinkle LF Feta onto my salad last night, my usual 2 TB was well below the weigh-in weight in grams.
So anyone who is in the Zone for the long haul and really likes to be as acurate as possible, I highly recommend a digital scale!
Once again, THANK YOU ZONE COACH!
