Default LC chocolate bars by Hersheys

I just read that Hershey's is introducing a SUGAR-FREE chocolate line. Anyone heard of it. I wonder if it is to be comprable to low carbo chocoloate bars. Just curious. It's about time though if true!

Hey, I've looked on their website and can't find any info about sugarfree. Where did you read this? Zima

I found this using a web search of Hershey's sugar free. Apparently some kind of trade site, and dated Dec. 14,2002

http://www.discountcandy.com/Sitene...p?storynumber=7

For years, older stockholders who attend Hershey's annual meeting admonished the company for not making sugar-free candies for diabetics and dieters. Company officials repeatedly said they had experimented with several sugar-free products, but none met Hershey's standards for quality. The company apparently has cleared those hurdles. Next year it will begin selling four sugar-free chocolate candies, three under the Hershey's name and one, a peanut butter cup, under the Reese's name.

It doesn't say what the sugar free sweetener is going to be. It will be interesting if its splenda. So will the taste.
