I lost 12 pounds on the first week of Induction and 2 on the 2nd. Since then (I've stayed on Induction for 5 weeks now)I've only lost 2 pounds per week. I'm glad to be losing, but what in the world will happen when I go to OWL? I'm afraid to go up another 5 grams a day. I'm currently not even doing a whole 20-usually somewhere between 7 and 17. Any suggestions? Thanks.

WOW, you're doing GREAT! I was on Induction for 3 weeks and didn't lost ANY pounds, although I lost some inches. I would be celebrating that much weight loss!

And 2 pounds a week too? Wow, I wish!!!

Sounds like you're doing just fine to me! As you add a few carbs each week, if you begin to stall for a long time or gain, then just back off the carbs again.

Congrats!

congrats on getting through the induction phase and don't lose heart. also, don't chase numbers on the scale, just think of how good you feel! i lost 100 lbs on atkins three years ago, some weeks didn't lose anything, but the feeling of well-being was just awesome.

you are inspiring me to get back on the diet, have had a hard time re-starting since my husband died.

thanks.
