Induction Blues
I lost 12 pounds on the first week of Induction and 2 on the 2nd. Since then (I've stayed on Induction for 5 weeks now)I've only lost 2 pounds per week. I'm glad to be losing, but what in the world will happen when I go to OWL? I'm afraid to go up another 5 grams a day. I'm currently not even doing a whole 20-usually somewhere between 7 and 17. Any suggestions? Thanks.

WOW, you're doing GREAT! I was on Induction for 3 weeks and didn't lost ANY pounds, although I lost some inches. I would be celebrating that much weight loss! And 2 pounds a week too? Wow, I wish!!! Sounds like you're doing just fine to me! As you add a few carbs each week, if you begin to stall for a long time or gain, then just back off the carbs again. Congrats! |
congrats on getting through the induction phase and don't lose heart. also, don't chase numbers on the scale, just think of how good you feel! i lost 100 lbs on atkins three years ago, some weeks didn't lose anything, but the feeling of well-being was just awesome.
you are inspiring me to get back on the diet, have had a hard time re-starting since my husband died. thanks. |
