Default WOW...100 pounds!!!

I can't believe that I am even thinking it possible to loose 100 pounds, but I figure if I am gonna do it, I may as well do it for real!!! I want to loose exactly 100 pounds, I have lost a whopping total of 3.5 so far, not bad for my fourth day I have a long way to go and have already added exercise to my daily routine, I have drank more water in the last 4 days than I have in the past 4 months(I have never pee'd so much in my life) I used to be a competitive cyclist, and my goal is to get back to that shape, my 1 year goal is to do a triathlon next summer, it has been 6 years since my last one.
Thanks in advance for all support you all seem to be willing to give.

I know... I keep thinking about how much I want to lose and it's intimidating. I know that if I set my mind to it and work hard, it can be done.

You CAN do it, too! Keep up the wonderful job!

Hi !

I hear you. I started at 340 last May 29th, and 11 months later I am down 90#. I have had a few set backs and many plataues, and try not to let that type of thing bother me. I look at the long term goals and more important, the behavour modification. I am always aware of what goes in my mouth, and know that in the long run, this WOE is really working for me. I experienced my first diet at age 12, and many since. Until LC, I have never been so satisfied on a diet, and able to eat without guilt.

You won't lose it over night, BUT you WILL lose it !

Wishing the Best for You ..

Brent

Welcome, tofatinga!! 100 pounds is definitely achievable and as a competitive athlete, you know the kind of work you have to do to be successful. I've just achieved the 100 pound mark in 11 months -- if I, with my weak willpower, can do it, anybody can!!

Good luck and hope to see you around here often!!
