Default Empty Stomach?

How long does it take to have an "empty stomach" after a meal?

Oh Jinx - you arechallenging today!!!!

Now this is not guaranteed to be medically factual - BUT within the last couple of days I read something on one of the Montignac threads about waiting 3 hours before eating a carb after consuming fat. Since Montignac involves food combining (non-combining????) I would assume that means 3 hours would = empty stomach. I've found when following SPII properly that 3 hours after a meal I'm ready for a snack. Why?

edit - not why do I want a snack, but why do you want to know - are you on verge of breakthrough in magical diet tricks

Oh yes, I am in the middle of a break through. Oops. No. That's wrong. I meant breakDOWN!

I'm asking cuz I'm s'posedta take my SAMe (delivered today!) on an empty stomach. That's not going to be easy for me! I need a snack in a couple of hours, too.

Any idea when I should take this stuff??

Maybe when I get up to potty in the middle of the night

Alrighty, the Whole Foods site says to take 400 mg/2x per day, either 2 hours after or 1 hour before eating.

Now that I can do!
