I just found this on the www:
2. How does Phaseolamin 2250® (LCN Phaseolamin - Phase2™) work?
Phase2™ is formulated to "neutralize" the digestive enzyme, alpha amylase, and may temporarily reduce the caloric impact of starch rich foods. Each 500mg capsule essentially "blocks" 1,125 calories from starches when taken 15 minutes prior to a meal. It will not block sugars (nor does any carbohydrate blocking product.)
Now 'amylase' is in our spit - so what does it do - dry out spit up! Also it does nothing to sugars. Also notice the MAY in the ad. I wouldn't bother personally.
