Default Is lactitol okay?

Lactitol as in Hershey's dark chocolate candy-Sugar Free.
Does it subtract from the total carbs like the other alcohol sugars?
Thanks for any help.
Total carbs=24, fiber+3, lactitol =19

Yes, you can subtract it-but be careful with that stuff. It can lead to long amounts of time in the bathroom. I wouldn't eat any unless I was at home.

I tried it once -- had one little bite sized bar. It resulted in one big sized stomach problem. Be careful -- eat only if you can be at home to handle the results.
