Default Help!! I'm craving a cappuccino

Gosh, what can I do? Have been on Atkins 4 weeks now & all is going great guns - until yesterday. Started thinking about a cappuccino, now, that's all I can think about. Woe is me. Maybe just talking about it will get it out of my system. Yea, right! Aah well.

So have one! Use a sweetener, and heavy cream and enjoy! It shouldn't set you back. Do you have cravings after eating caffeine?

I gave up my morning coffee when I began Induction. But I drink green tea which has some caffeine, and I occasionally use sweetener (Splenda). Doesn't seem to have hurt me.

I also made a protein shake with espresso in it. Yummy.

K.

Thanks Kaillean. Never use sugar, but, with the cream - do you whip it first? Duh!! Not sure

I usually make myself a decaf latte and add some sf cocoa powder. Or I go to Starbucks and order a tall decaf latte breve (so they use half and half instead of milk), and that satisfies my craving and doesn't stall my weight loss.

Perhaps they could make a decaf cappuccino breve?

Have one -- just count the carbs in your daily total. I occasinally have a cappuccino and have not noticed any ill effects except to my wallet.

Yeah you steam the cream....but I always add water to my cream....like 1/4 cream, 3/4 water. If I use all cream its too fatty tasting and that makes it less carbs anyway. By adding water, thats basically like using milk. I make them all the time and it hasnt slowed my weight loss either.
