Question Carb count in SPII book

Hi all.
I'm really I was referring to my book this morning to check on my starchy carb count and in SPII she has 1/2 cup of turnips are 15 carbs. Well by bag that they come in say 3/4 cup is 3 carbs??? which is it?
She also has 1/2 cup of wild rice is 15 carbs and my box says 1/4 cup dry is 27 carbs.??
Same thing with bread crumbs she says 1 tbs is 15 carbs and I bought ww bread crumbs and 1/3 cup is 22 carbs ??
Does anyone notice this too?
Is swiss chard a non-starchy or starchy veggie. On fit day it came up with 7 carbs for 1 cup cooked?
Please help
Thanks

I noticed this too and have been going by the labels. The oatmeal has more carbs on the label than in the book as well.
