Default Keto Strips

I JUST USED A kETO STRIP FOR THE FIRST TIME. iT REGISTERED 15 ON THE 5,15,40,80,160 SCALE.

Do all companies use the same scale? Been LCing 4 weeks now. Limiting carbs to less than 25????

Am in range?

started 212lbs...196 in two weeks and holding???

Any suggestions or comments?

Thanks

Charlie

<B>Any change</B> in the Ketostix is good. Pink, rosy, lilac, purple -- as long as you get out of the beige (also known as the pre-pee color ). That means you're burning fat. I stay in the middle, around the rosy shade; my spouse stays between the lilac and the deep purple. Keep in mind that the Ketostix are a <B>helpful tool</B>, and not the last word in lo-carb success! Are you feeling better? Clothes fitting looser? Aches and pains diminishing? Scales moving down? All these things add up to success.

It's not unusual to "stall" a bit in the beginning ... your body has been accustomed to processing high numbers of carb, and now that you've changed your WOE, your body has to make literally <I>hundreds</I> of biochemical adjustments! I compare it to swimming the English Channel: every now and then, you have to tread water and catch your breath. So does your body! Hang in there, be patient, stick with your chosen program, and things will start moving again shortly.

(<I>I must remind myself to practice what I preach!</I> )

Talking keto probLEMS

kETOSTIX ARE PRETTY UNREALIABLE FOR MEASURING YOUR KETOSIS. sOMETIMES YOU MAY BE AWARE YOUR IN KETOSISiE BREATH AND NOT BE REGESTERING IN YOUR URINE output. They are not as accurate, just a little note. also other things can show ketosis on the sticks, certain foods, and dehydration can increase it. So dont get discouraged by them if they do not react. Congrats your on your way.

Yes, my thoughts too. I haven't used them in a year or more...they never really showed me any pink, so I just dumped the whole idea! Still lost just fine...many do.

If you like to keep track, they're helpful. But basically just by keeping your foods on the right balance, you'll have no problem losing.
