This is my 3rd day on atkins
Are these ok to have on the Atkins? For a once in a while treat? Sugar free Crème Doublers Strawberry and crème chews Sugar free Crème Doublers peach and crème chews For 7 pieces which I know I won’t have but one or 2 33 carbs and 33 sugar alcohols don’t you subtract that and that’s what you count? 150 cals I don’t keep track of calories do you?
Sugar free Crème Doublers Chocolate and crème chews 7 pieces 31carbs 30 sugar alcohols

Sugar free Dubble Bubble Gum 1 piece 7 cals 3 carbs 3 sugar alcohol

1 piece orbit gum 1 carb 1 sugar alcohol 5 cals

Do you keep track of calories? Do you keep track of regular carbs or net carbs? Which bars do you eat? I can have this on the 1st 2 weeks right just don’t over do it also I drink water and diet mountain dew caffeine free and is sugar free Jell-O ok?

These items are OK, but not necessarily for Induction. Sugar alcohols do stall some people, so you may want to wait until post Induction. If they aren't causing you any problems with losing, then they're fine, but watch how much you consume & how it effects you. Some people find sugar alcohols also have a laxative effect. Many use sugar free jello topped with a little heavy whipping cream (can be sweetened with splenda). Counting carbs for me & most means net carbs. Sugar alcohols are subtracted along with fiber to get the net carbs. I used Atkins Advantage Bars on Induction (still do) without any problems. I really like the chocolate peanut butter, my favorite. The cookies & cream wasn't bad, nor was the chocolate decadence (but it's incredibley rich). After Induction I added an occasional Endulge Bar, low carb candy- the peanut butter cups, chocolate, & chocolate crisp are all very good, but I found the carmel nut chew a bit funky tasting. I find I need a chocolate fix every now & then, now I just make it a low-carb fix. Good luck.
God Bless,
Amy-Lynne

I chew the orbitz gum quite often and it doesn't seem to stall me out. It was the one with the lowest carbs and the pieces are still pretty big and tasty.

I haven't tried the other gums though.

Not a huge fan of the low carb bars. The taste is not great but ok if you are hungry and have nothing else low carb around. I keep a few in my desk at work just in case I get hungry and get tempted to cheat.

They don't seem to stall me out but I don't eat too many. I usually eat about a half of one and I've had enough.

Sugar alcohol seems to affect everyone differently so just keep an eye on your weight loss and if it seems to slow down then you might want to cool it on the extras.

Some people have problems with aspartame (the sweetner in that Diet Mountain Dew) so you'll want to monitor that too.

It sounds like you are doing okay so far, maybe your body is just being a bit slow about giving up the weight? (Our bodies have a mind of their own - right now I am ready to tear my hair out over my own body's stubbornness on the scale right now...sigh)

Stay with the program, you will do great!

Love, Leora
