Default Almost caved yesterday

Boy, I'm still in induction and I almost caved in and actually wanted to drive to the store just to get peanut M&M's. I think it's mostly sugar withdrawal I'm going thru, so I made some sugarfree jello with heavy cream and ate two teaspoonfuls. Probably not exactly legal on induction, but still better than M&M's. Actually, other than those two spoonfuls, I had meat, a tiny bite of cheese, egg, and small salad all day, so I doubt I did much of anything wrong. It cured my craving for M&M's and helped with the shakes a little, so I figure all is well. I guess the building of character kinda didn't happen though.

Default I know how you feel

I'm almost caved in yesterday too. I was at school working on a big paper, and studying for a test, and I was totally stressing, I thought I was gonna have a little panic attack, lol, because then I started craving some candy. I wound up getting a diet dr. pepper, no carbs, but did have caffine, but it was enough to keep me from doing some major cheating.

I am in love with sugar free jello. I will probably eat it from now on even after I am not as strictly watching my carbs!

I'm glad you didn't cave in though! It does kinda make you feel good though, when you think about caving in but then don't because it means more to be able to reach that goal weight than just to feel satisfied stomach wise for a few minutes!

Oh, how many times have I found myself heading for the kitchen and then wondered, what the heck am I doing? I'm not hungry!
Old habits die hard, but they do die.

Please, please though, make sure you are eating enough! The general rule is 10 x your weight...ie at 178, aim for 1780 calories and a nutrition ratio of 65% fat, 30% protein and 5% carbs. If you haven't investigated fitday.com check it out. It's a great help in getting the balance right. If you'd like to see how it works, feel free to click the link below my name. What I eat isn't interesting, but you'll see what fitday does. If you check mine today, you'll see that I have planned 3 meals and still need lots of calories! This is not a problem I ever expected

WE CAN DO THIS!
