Thumbs up Cinnamon Roasted Almonds

Just tried these and they are WONDERFUL...........


1 egg white
1 tsp. cold water
4 cups whole almonds
1/2 cup splenda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon

Preheat oven to 250 F.... LIghtly butter a 10x15 pan

lighty beat the egg white , add water and beat until frothy, but not stiff... add almonds and stir....
Mix sugar salt & cinnamon then sprinkle over the nuts, coat well....
spread on pan evenly...
Bake for 1 hour stiring occasionally... allow to cool then store in air tight container....

These sound wonderful. I am going to buy some almonds and try them today. Just what I need, something crunchy and sweet!

I am hoping someone knows the serving size and carb count for them, I am dying to try them. Almond Addicted Here

Talking I figured it out myself!

Unless I used fitday.com incorrectly this snacks comes out to 7.5 carbs (net I think) for a 1/4 cup servings. NOW if only I could eat only 1/4 of almonds!

I've got a variation on these (with walnuts, since I had a bunch of walnuts to use up) roasting in the oven now! Can't wait to try them! They smell delicious.
