Default Three Weeks induction - Results

I have had very good luck on the Atkins Plan. It may sound strange but I have lost 20 lbs in 3 weeks.

I am still learning on trying to eat enough carbs. I still average less than 10 carbs per day. 6-8 glasses of water.

Induction Date: Feb 8, 2003
Start Weight : 248
Current Weight: 228
First Goal: 225
New Goal: 200

Male, 35, 6'0

I have gone from a 44 waist to a comfortable 40.
Also from an XXL shirt to an XL shirt.

Trying not to brag, but I feel awesome. Thanks for everyine who had given me advice.

Keep sticking to the low carb way of life, it works for me.

Default Evil vanishes

Hi all,

Evil, math is not my strong point, but I have a calculator

I figure you are losing more than 6 pounds a week. At this rate, by the end of one year, you will have vanished.

Don't want you to vanish, but hang in there. You're doin' great !

Hi Evil,

Woo Hoo!!

That's great. I might have to drop my carb levels a little....of course, I was counting Egees (because the carton does) but Atkins lists them as free foods....so I'm just eating a few more carbs than you are.
I started the Induction diet 2 days after you did, and I've lost 20 lbs. as well. That first week is a little rough, but once you are through that period, it's kind of a "piece of cake"!

You losses are impressive; especially the waist reduction. Keep it up. I was wondering why you are having difficultly maintaining the prescribed carb level?

Good Luck!
