Default Mirror Mirror on the Wall...

Ive always been mistaken for quite a bit younger....until these last 2 years...people have been guessing dead on.

Whatever fine lines I was starting to get around my eyes(Im 32) have all disappeared!

Although my face is slimmer looking from the weight loss its plumper lol...if that makes sense.

Anyone notice that they are looking younger??

Someone please say yes so I know Im not just imagining things. hehe.

BB.

Caitlin won't say anything , but I will attest that I can see a difference in her. I'm thinking it's a combination of the weight coming off and the increased self-confidence that can't help but be visible in the face.

Good feelings will show on the outside!

Cait...hes such a sweetheart ...pinch his cheeks for me.

Im getting jealous, Im making my hubby join my low-carb side now! hehe jk.. I rather he come over on his own accord because he sees this working for me, and if he nevers thats okay too. Hes enjoying all the meat now(loves meat ...we had very lil of it when I was on a low-fat diet...cuz I cooked a lot of veggies and pastas)....but hes eating his steak, and then going for a huge bowl of ice cream afterwards...so no he hasnt joined me yet. lol.

You two bring such a smile to my face, glad you are around.

BB.

Butterfly, I think you look like a teenager this morning!

I don't know if I really look younger, I mean, younger than what? Younger than the usual concept of 61? But I must say my skin has improved dramatically. Maybe it's the water or the fatty foods, but my skin is softer, the lines are less apparent and any blemishes have just disappeared.

I'm on a most annoying weight plateau but at least when the fat lady sings, she looks better!

Good luck!

I'm not sure.... to be honest. I think I look better then I have in years but I don't believe I look younger.

I'm 37 and I think I look decent for my age.

Thats not bad....

My b-friend mentioned something about seeing my cheekbones the otherday... he seemed pretty much in awe. But I've always looked younger than I am (I'm 32) and I contribute this to my chubby baby face .... so I'm not sure how this WOL will affect my looks now, it may actually make me look older in the long run.

I was surprised to glance down at my nails and notice my nailbeds are much pinker than before I started this WOL 7 weeks ago. I was kind of startled by it. I'm not sure why LCing would improve my circulation to my fingertips, but there you have it.

Aside from that, my hair is growing fast, my nails are long and strong, and I have lots of energy, all of which helps me feel younger than my 40 years.

Amen.

Thumbs up nails better on lc

hey, thumbs up on the nails! I have noticed that my nails are now stronger and better looking - wasn't sure if it was because I am sleeping in the carpal tunnel wrist splints since mid December and/or the low carbing since January - either way I like it!!!

Jan
