Hair fallout

Hi, gang. This is the first time I have posted, but I have read and learned from all of you these past 5 months. What's the deal with hair falling out on Atkins? I am getting clumps of 5 or 6 hairs at a time falling out in the tub. Also, notice my face is kind of ruddy. Any advice? I take lots of vitamins, and did buy the hair, skin, nails formula with biotin. I really can't afford the Atkins brands, so I have been mix and matching his recommendations with what I find at the discount drug store.
