Sugar Alcohol Question
Hi All-
I bought SF candies yeterday. It is sweetened with Splenda, which I thought was great! But then I was putting the info into fitday and I got confused. The nutritional information says that there are 31 carbs for 7 pieces, and 30 are sugar alcohol. Now I looked for the "ols" (malitol etc) and it didnt have any. Just the sucralose (Splenda). So where are the sugar alcohols coming from??
Here are the ingredients...
hydrogenated starch, hydrolysate, cream, partially hydrogenated soybean oil, mono and diglycerides, artificial flavors, citric acid, soya lecithin, sucralose, artificial color.
Just want to make sure these arent really bad for me.
Thanks!
