Question How much is a stick of butter?

Sorry, but I'm desperate!

I have a big brick of butter and I'm trying to make something that calls for a stick of butter. Is that 1/2 a cup?

Akkk!!!!!

Thanks for input!

Joy

Default Yes!

Yes, 1 stick of butter=8 TBSP.=1/2 c.

The thing that is come in handy for me is knowing that 2 T.=1/8 c. Often times for measuring stuff, it is easier to measure in an 1/8 c. than doing it twice with tablespoons...

So whatcha making???

Amy
