Default Lo Carb Recipe or Bars?

Hi All,

I am new to this WOE and I am wondering what all of you think about this....is it better to make a lo carb sweet treat like the peanut butter cookies which yield 1.5 carbs per serving or eat say 1/2 of an atkins bar. I am currently at a stall in my weight loss...the first few days I dropped 3.6 pounds and now I am not losing weight. I just wanted to get your opinions on what you think would be a better sweet treat? Thanks for your help. There is no sugar or sugar alcohol in the pb cookies so I am thinking they might be a safer bet. They are made with sf pb, cocoa powder, heavy cream, atkins bake mix and eggs....
Julie

I'm not sure about the cookies, but I can tell you that I have only had one adkins bar in the past 3 months, and I was knocked out of ketosis that one time. So needless to say I don't have much love for the adkins bars.

The old ones did. IMHO, the "new and improved" ones are pretty tasty. Of course, it's been so long since I had real sugar, my tastebuds may very well have taken an early retirement.

Julie...if you're stalled, I'd cut out anything artificially sweetened for a while to see if that gets things moving again, but the cookies would probably give you the least problem as long as you can keep them limited to one or two a day. With so little weight to lose, you can expect it to come off very slowly, so if you haven't lost any weight for a short time, it's not really a stall. Techically, you're not stalled unless you have had no weight or inches lost for a period of 4-6 weeks.
