Default Sinful Crab Dip

Just realized one of my favorite appetizers is low-carb! This is great for entertaining, I made it for thanksgiving and it was a big hit. No one was hungry for turkey!

Sinful Crab Dip

1 lb fresh lump crab meat
8 oz cream cheese
1/2 c heavy cream or half & half
1/2 onion, finely chopped
1 tsp Lea & Perrins Worcesterchire sauce
1 tsp horseradish
Salt & Pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 325 degrees

Melt cream cheese in casserole dish in microwave 60 seconds
Add heavy cream, stir until smooth
Add onion, worcestershire sauce and horseradish
Sprinkle with salt and pepper
Add crabmeat last, gently folding in
Pop in oven for 20-30 mins until lightly brown on top

I used to serve this with wheat thins or triscuits, but tonight I'm going to try celery or cucumbers. I guess you could use pork rinds too. Enjoy!!

that does sound great. Maybe even serve with those cheddar cheese crackers made in the microwave or for the brave, those pepperoni chips! Thanks for sharing the recipe~

Did you do a carb count of this?

Default Carb count

Hi, sorry I forgot the carb count...

Crab - 0
Cream cheese - 6
Horseradish - 1
W sauce- 1
1/2 onion - 3
Half & Half - 5 or Heavy cream - 4

So the total for the whole dish is 15-16, but it makes a LOT of dip.

P.S. My husband and I had this on our steak for dinner tonight, OMG it was so good
