Question I keep adding more & more supplements

I started off taking 2 GNC's womens ultra mega supplements a day. Then I added 2 1000mg L-glutamine capsules. Lately I added 2 omega-3 fatty acid 500mg softgels, 1 400 I.U. vitamin E, 3 CLA 1000mg softgels and a couple of Xenadrine EFX about 4-5 days a week. Now I'm reading about chromium picolinate and thinking about adding this. I have lost a couple of pounds since adding the CLA & omega-3 after not losing for a while. Have I gone supplement crazy? If nothing else all of these huge supplements I take (spread out through the day) fill me up a little. My appetite has deminished somewhat, the cravings are much better.
Am I over doing it? Is there something else I should take too?

If your cravings are under control and don't have any particular problem with hypoglycemia, I don't think you NEED chromium. The rest of your supplements look good. I took CLA for a while but they didn't seem to do anything for me, so I eliminated them (4 pills gone!). The only thing I see missing is calcium-magnesium... a woman needs 1000-1200 mg. of calcium/day in her diet, so check your multi's and then supplement as needed. I consider absolute essentials to be a multi, calcium-mag, and omega-3's. Beyond that, it's up to you and whether or not you see any benefit from taking them.

Thanks Teri. I was just about to go to Target and thought I'd look to see if anyone had answered. I checked my multi-vitamin and it only gives me 500mg calcium a day so I'll pick some up instead of the chromium.
