Default Excited New CADer!!

I just wanted to say hey to everyone. I've been browsing this forum for months and finally decided to post! I switched from Atkins to CAD a couple of weeks ago and I love CAD already. I have gained 0.9 lbs but I'm not going to let that discourage me. I switched to Plan D so hopefully I'll lose over this next week. I've been wanting to post here because everyone is so supportive and has great advice. I'm so excited about this WOL because I scored as a moderate carb addict and I think that this finally explains why I never have been able to lose weight on any diet before! Well, just wanted to say thanks to everyone for posting on this forum. It has already helped me so much!!

Smile welcome aboard Jenniferg

Yes indeed, this forum and the support you get here is the best,
I began four weeks ago on CAD, and I truly believe if It wasn't
for this forum, I may not be doing as well as I am. In the past
the other plans I have tried eg. WW . I feel this plan is so much
more realiastic and easier. Now Less than twenty pounds from
goal weight I feel so optimistic about finally shedding this weight
which I have been hanging on too for so many years.

Default Thanks for responding - looks like we're in the same boat...

Thanks for responding to my post! Looks like we're trying to lose about the same amount of weight and starting at the same weight too. I've got a feeling that its going to take me a long time to lose mine because my body seems to be very resistant to give up any pounds! But losing is better than gaining any day so if I start to lose at all I will be happy. Good luck and if you want to be support partners let me know. I'm not sure how to private message someone yet. Thanks!!
