Default how do you stop?

Hi everyone,

My hubby and I have been doing atkins since Sept 2002. I have lost 40 lbs and so has my Hubby. I wouldnt stop eating like this if someone put a gun to my head. My hubby likes it also. My problem is that He has reached his goal and I cant get him to add enough carbs back in to his diet. He says he is afraid of carbs. He doesnt want to feel cravings .......etc. like before. I have been trying to get him up in carbs but it doesnt always work. The bitter irony of all this is that he didnt really have a weight problem. Has anyone heard of this problem?

any feedback will be appreciated.

thanks,

Nanci

Is he still losing, Nanci? There should be a point while LCing where the fat loss stops - when your body has decided this is 'it'. If he's not losing anymore and if he's eating enough to keep himself happy and well fed then I don't think I'd worry about it.

If he is still losing and wants to stop then perhaps increasing calories might help. A few extra ounces of macadamia nuts is 600 calories more. Maybe a LC bar might stall him

Congrats!
Nat

Oh, poor man...

I know, I know...some people really do have the problem of losing and not needing to...but I just had to throw in a little sarcasm here for the fun of it!

Nanci...you're doing great!! I bet you feel better too!!
