Default Sake Warning!

I just found out that sake is loaded with carbs. Anywhere up to 27 grams per 5.5 ounce glass. Eeeek! I have been drinking sake a couple times a week for two months. No wonder I am only losing a pound a week, if that! I just wanted to let you sake sippers know.

Wow! I didn't know that. I don't think I've ever tried sake, but I guess I'll remove it from my "to try" list. Thanks for sharing. Interesting that you still lost about a pound a week, though. Goes to show that our bodies are pretty unpredicitible.

Had no clue either but I guess it makes sense since it is made from rice.

I never been a big drinker but I know if I go out for sashimi I need to stay away from it. Thanks!
