Default Just a note...

If you like cream cheese... don't give up on the mock danish if it doesn't turn out well the first time. It took me a couple tries before I found the right consistency.

My trick is to only use egg yolk, flavor it up with da vinci syrup AND vanilla extract, and add splenda and cinnamon after nuking for 90 seconds.

Wade through that mock danish link. It's probably one of the most active on the board!

Default go get this recipe AWESOME

Ok so after searching for awhile I did finally find something not terribly difficult to make( ingredients and time)

The MOCK DANISH is extremely good, to me its like my long-lost friend CHEESECAKE!!!!!!
It is very filling but it certainly handles a sweet tooth quickly!!

I only wish I had of tried it before!!! I think this one will stay around for a long time

Remember smiley (though it takes more time and effort) there are plenty of LC cheesecake recipes! I made one from this board on christmas and it was a hit. Some people have the trick of making mini ones in muffin tins and freezing them for quick breakfasty treats.

I didn't like the mock danish too much until I added cinnamon... ooh and butter. Now I'm addicted.
