Question Chicken "noodle" soup recipe?

Hi,

Does anyone have a good recipe for something that could mock chicken noodle soup? Of course, I used to use Reames egg noodles, but they are just loaded with carbs as I'm sure you can imagine.

I did a recipe search, but didn't find anything.

If anyone has any suggestions, I'd love to hear them.

Thanks!

Jill in Phoenix, AZ

Okay.... I'm really not an idiot! I did a search by chicken noodle, not "noodle" and I didn't get the recipe listed a few down from mine....

It sounds goods (the other recipe), but I would like to find one that mimics noodles. So if anyone has any ideas.....

Thanks!

Do a search on just "noodle" in just this Kitchen Forum, and you will come up with a few creative noodle ideas, I'm sure.

Very thin julienned strips of extra-firm tofu are quite noodle-like in shape and texture, and suitably bland.

Karen has a great soup that's warm and soothing .. and very simple. If you use chicken stock, and slice the veggies in strips rather than cubes, it's very Chicken Noodle Soup-like

Check out Daikon, Chinese Cabbage and Tofu Soup. (one time I made it and didn't have any daikon .. so I used sliced mushrooms )
