Thumbs down Anti aging supplements and vitamins to be made illegal??

Mostly all I do is read here, but this really got my goat when I read it on some other message boards......HR 5564 is a bill that was introduced in october and theyre going to try to railroad it thru when they reconvene. They're going after andro products, which admittedly are pretty worthless, but it would also lump in things like DHEA,7-Keto Dhea, pregnelone etc...and all precursors and metabolites of those substances..so things like DHEA cream, wild yam root cream etc etc would become schedule 3 controlled substances which you could no loinger even posess. I know this may not be the best place for this post but many of us here take supplements, and if theyre allowed to ban these things without going thru proper channels, how long is it going to be b4 you have to go to your doctor and get a prescription for a damn vitamin c or centrum tablet???? Or maybe buy Udo's or flax oil n the black marrket????cmon enuff is enuff. They view this bill as the gateway bill that would give them more freedoms in regulating the industry....translation,lets set the standard to take away the ability to buy anything. What gets me more than anything is that the bill is sponsored by Tom Osbourne, the former nebraska football coach turned congressman. He now feels building muscle with supplements is immoral and unfair......after,mind you he feilded some of the most jacked teams college football has ever seen. Sorry to rant but that kind of double talk really gets me.
I'm not affiliated with them, but do a net search for the united supplement freedom association....they have a better explanation than my rant and even letters you can send to your congress people....if someone else wants to later post the link to their site maybe the mods wouldn't mind since this affects us all,I just didn't want to overstep protocol while i was being hacked off

I've read an artcle that mentions the same bill. It also said they will try to make it illegal for any of us to order any supplements from overseas. I agree, enuff is enuff. I personally don't trust my government to know, or look out for my best interests. Look at the food pyramid they recommend. If I ate like that I'd twice the size I am now.
