Default Bouncing at set point, feeling funny

This is so weirda and I dont know if its a coincidence or not...any feedback?

Ive been stuck/stalled at 140 for 2 months, but have been continuing to follow OWL. I had great weight loss in induction and so have been fairly confident that Ill break through this stall eventually.

However, it seems like I have veen bouncing the past two weeks at 139, 138, 137, etc. But every other day or so Im back at 140. What is strange is that whenever I go seem to go below 140 I feel achey, weak and have gotten leg cramps. Either my body prefers 140 or maybe those days I havent gotten enough water/potassium (?) and so Im holding on to the water (thereby going back to 140)?

Just wondering if the bouncing or feeling funny with a breakthrough rings a bell with anyone. Ive been thinking its pretty odd.

At 5'7", you really shouldn't be less than 135 (100 pounds for the first 5 feet, plus 5 pounds per inch above that.) So perhaps you have hit the nail on the head - that your body is VERY happy at that weight.

LCers tend to weigh a bit more but look smaller because the adequate protein intake helps us keep and even gain sleek muscle tissue while losing fat.

If you are not happy with how you look, you could try some form of exercise and weight training. Be prepared to gain a few pounds but look better. You could also just wait as the body will continue to redistribute itself for months yet. (I know that sounds a bit weird, but people have reported staying the same weight yet changing shape.)

I think you are probably at the perfect weight. Keep your carbs up so that you will not have that shaky feeling. Carbs aren't bad in themselves, just when we eat the wrong type for our particular chemistry or too many of them.

Thanks for the feedback, Barb. Yeah, I know Im pretty close to a good weight for me (I think my initial goal of 128 was unrealistic, although I would like to drop one more dress size!). Actually, with toning and exercise I may be able to do that.

Interesting what you mentioned about the weight distribution going on for awhile...Ill keep an eye out! lol

I think Ill just get comfy at this weight, move on to pre-maintenance (Ive been on OWL for 2 months and havent really lost a thing), and focus on toning instead of losing.
