Default The BIG whoosh!!

Gotta brag cause I've waited 14 weeks and one day to say that I've lost 20 pounds......YEAAAAAAAAAAA finally broke down into the 160's!!!!!! I was in a small stall for a couple weeks, but I knew it was my body adjusting cause I was still following this WOE and I know eventually those little ounces I'm losing will translate into pounds.
I want to thank all the people that participate on this forum - just reading the posts gives me lots of encouragement on moments when I falter in my thinking!!
Think I'll treat myself to a big steak dinner with blue cheese dressing on my salad!!
Kay

Kay, let me be the first to give you a great big congratulations!!

That's a major milestone and boy, am I encouraged by your long wait for it. I'm the turtle on this forum, but I'm down a bit now and am waiting on that first real 10 pounds gone... I bet you must have jumped up and down when you read that scale!!

Good going...keep up the good work, and ENJOY that steak and salad!!!

Kay, Congratulations!
I started Atkins about a month ago and see you started in August.I have only lost 2 pounds and was starting to feel like this diet wasn't working. Now that I see it may take time, I will hang in there.
I am in ketosis, just started to eat more veggies, not cheating.....who knows. Maybe it takes some of us a LOOOOOOONG time for our bodies to adjust. Dana
