Default All you can eat buffet

I used to weight 105 lbs but gained nearly 100 lbs over 6 years. A few months ago I decided that I wanted to get back down to 175 (currently about 190). But today we went to what used to be one of my favorite places, an all you can eat Chinese buffet and I just lost it.I filled my plate 4 times and had 3 different desserts. I felt so stffed I thought I would throw up when we walked out of the place.

Hi Angela

All I can say is... "Don't Do that again!"

If you do go to a chinese buffet again (after induction of course)
Try and just eat the least carb filled items..like mongolion beef and some of the chicken dishes, and chicken wings....But most of those sauces are filled with sugar! Like you, I love Chinese food
Its hard to pass up the rice, noodles and fried (breaded) things! So, maybe once a year! (by the way, I think your "stats" are backwards.) Good Luck
Peace, K.C.

I hear you loud and clear... My mom per my brother's request, took me out to a chinese buffet for my birthday dinner. I made myself sit and eat 6 chicken wings w/skin before I could eat anything tempting. That way, I was at least partially full and couldn't over-do-it with the breaded, starchy, sugary items. Course, that doesn't mean that I'm not totally bloated from all the water that I'm retaining now... I'm holding like 5 pounds of water, eek!

This morning I had a dr's appointment and the scale was somewhat gentle but I could see the water weight

But the nurse said my weight looks great for my height! But their scale weighed me at 154.5 with all my clothes and whatnot. D** dr's scales!

I know, I know. The bad thing is I feel even hungrier today, maybe from having stretched out my stomach.

Thanks for the tip about my stats. I thought I was supposed to start with my original weight. It's not so embarrassing this way!
