I just got done reading CAD and it says that your weight can vary as much as five pounds due to premenstrual changes, heavily salted food, hot weather, etc. It suggests to weigh yourself at the same time every day and write it down. When the week is over, add up your daily weights and divide by seven. That will give you an average for the week. Do the same the next week and compare the two. If you weigh more the second week, you will know for sure that you have gained weight and it's probably not just PMS. This seems a lot more accurate to me than just weighing yourself once a week because you don't know which days you will weigh more or less on which will make it appear as if you weigh more or less than you really are.
