just bought a scale
Hi Amytx,
I just bought a scale three weeks ago, and it was $40-- a Taylor "Precision Tech Lithium Electronic" it's digital and tells you your weight down to the half pound, which is nice. This is $10 over your budget BUT I distinctly remember that there were three Taylor scales and I got the middle one. I think the cheaper one was 25. It may not have been digital, but I honestly don't think there's a difference in accuracy. At any rate, Taylor is a pretty good brand. I like mine, haven't had any problems and the readout is pretty big.
My advice: Don't spend too much, you're going to despise the thing anyhow!!!
Best of luck to you! I definitely agree--stick to the measuring tape and don't get discouraged when your weight goes up 3 lbs overnight---it's not 3 lbs of fat, it's just water and new muscle and, you know, your cells. So don't freak out like I do every morning!!
Ciao!
