Default Walnut Oil Question

Much to my delight, Ruth gifted me with a bottle of Walnut Oil. I've been wanting some to use in salad dressings so I'm absolutely thrilled.

My question is this: Is it necessary to store it in the fridge?

Some people would say yes, but most nut oils - unless they are cold pressed - will keep for a month or so after being opened in a cool dark cupboard.

Hint: for salad dressings, mix it in with olive oil because it can be too strong on its own. Try it drizzled on fresh berries with whipped cream.

Thanks for the speedy response Karen.

The bottle says it's "expeller pressed". I assume that's cold. I think I'll opt to refridgerate it since I doubt I'll have it used up quickly.
