I was wondering if long durations of cardio after the carb up is a good thing. My initial reaction is that if it is after the weight training it should be good to get back into ketosis.
For example, hiking - not strolling on gentle hills, hiking up steep inclines with scrambles for 2, 3, 5 hours.. is that good or no?

-I would suggest something like that be done the day after the 'carb-up' (like you stated). However, doing this type of activity following weight-training...well, that won't be fun. Personally, I think a heavy/intense session of weight training followed by some light cardio (15-20 min.) is enough for one to est. ketosis rather quickly.
