Unhappy July 4th Confession

I just don't understand it. I did sooo good all day. Here I was...day 14 of Induction, at a picnic. I passed the macaroni salad. Ignored the potatoe salad. Shunned the pasta salad. I stuck to my hamburger (no bun of course), steak, and salad.

Alas, late afternoon, we are all in the kitchen and everyone is eating doughnuts. Aghhh! My biggest temptation yet, and I caved!

I don't feel too crummy today, but to tell the truth, I didn't even enjoy the doughnut too much.

Oh, well. Had my scrambled eggs and bacon this morning, so I am back on track.

Netty

We are all human...and we all make mistakes...Like Karen says...
"progress...not perfection"

This is a way of life...sometimes we may slip when we are faced with such situations...The important thing is you are back on track... ....Good for you!

Thanks for your reply! Yes, I managed to stay on track yesterday and so far today. I made raspberry pancakes for the kids, and wasn't even tempted to sneak a taste. (Although they smelled heavenly!!)
