Post Can't believe it, but here I am in the confession booth...

My favorite cake appeared in the house recently - tons of it. I immediately knew that I was too strong and too happy with my new way of life to even DESIRE a single piece of it. With those thoughts I unblinkingly grabbed a slice and have had 5 since! Ouch!

I don't really feel guilty - I know if I tell myself that I will never ever have another piece of cake or icecream or chocolate for as long as I live, I'd either be lying or life would definitely be a little more depressing. However, what I DO want to do is lose some weight (which means NO cake now, and DEFINITELY not 5 slices in 48 hours!) and then hopefully be on a life-long healthy diet and have these sinful delights perhaps once in a blue moon.

However I don't know if not feeling guilty is a great thing here... Maybe if I did, I would not be sitting here, wanting another piece...!

thanks for the posts!

My favorite cake is a chocolate cake - I just can't resist chocolate period! Well, I WILL now

Actually cheese cake sounds pretty good too, disneybebe! I have a terrible sweet tooth and love just about anything with sugar - which is what made me realize I'm the right kind of person for low-carbing in the first place.

I am back on track now - have been good today
That cake is still in the house and I'm frantically trying to get rid of it - give some to the neighbors, take some to work.... Hopefully there won't be any left soon!

Happy low-carbing!
