Default Can someone please explain this???

Hello all,

Started back on Atkins this week (previously on GO - gotta change my stats) and that got me to weigh and measure myself. Great to see that I actually did lose weight as I was stressing before about the scale. Hopefully won't fall into that again.

However, I've been more regular in measuring myself (every two weeks) and it's been weird. Can someone please explain to me how I can be losing in the hips and waist but gaining inches in the chest? This week I lost 1 inch in the hips and 2 in the waist but gained 1/2 an inch in the chest. The last time I measured myself it was the same thing - seems I keep gaining inches in the chest. Now I'm a woman, so if I have to gain somewhere might as well be the chest (sorry, guys) but it's just weird. I haven't been doing any arm exercises or anything like that that could account for it.

Any ideas?

Tam

Tam, check out the post in Past Power Posts called "How Fat Moves About" - it really does move about. I've noticed the same thing - it's become a bit of a game, trying to figure out where that 1/4 inch off my left calf went to
