Default Easy Atkins Breakfasts

When I began this WOE, I was a breakfast skipper. I'm not any more. I'm convinced that skipping breakfast slows weight loss. Now that I've adjusted to eating breakfast, I'm actually hungry for it every morning and have trouble waiting my minimum one hour on cardio mornings.

I realize many have difficulty with breakfast so I thought I'd share some of the breakfast items that I eat now. Please feel free to post some of yours!

1. Steak and eggs - I prefer to eat heavy beef meals like this in the morning.

2. Hard boiled eggs - very portable and can prepare ahead

3. Canned salmon mixed with generous amounts of mayonnaise and dipped up with bacon rinds can be prepared ahead

4. Low carb protein shake with Flaxseed Oil and fruit blended in - filling and fast

5. Mock Danish - http://forum.lowcarber.org/showthre...&threadid=18094
Have prepared this ahead and taken along and eaten it as cold finger food.

6. 3/4 cup cottage cheese with 1/4 frozen blueberries - portable and berries melt in transport...yum

Just a little preplanning required for some of them and you'd be set!

Marlaine
