Default What foods can you trust?

All the confusion about hidden carbs. Arn't there any foods that you can just know are labeled correctly?

Yes there are!

Normally you find them in the fresh produce department or the meat department of your favorite grocery store. Normally fresh raw meats are pretty safe from additives. Some sausages from the butcher do contain fillers, such as sugar or bread crumbs so be sure to ask.

Most of the time frozen veggies are pretty safe from additives.

Just remember one thing...the longer it took from the time it was harvested to reach you, the more processing it has gone through. Read the labels
