Default Daily Menu Thread Monday, January 14

Good morning. What did you/are you going to eat today?

Protein Power Lifetime Plan

Breakfast: 4 slices slab bacon, small tangerine

Lunch: 2 braised short ribs, salad

Diinner: chicken thighs cooked in a crockpot with spices, spinach and red/yellow/orange pepper stir fry

on a quest to seriously watch what i'm eating. i think planning will help, so here is my actual breakfast and planned rest of the day.

breakfast: 2 sausage links 2 coffee's w/ cream & splenda 1 oz. string cheese.

lunch : tuna with mayo on lettuce

snack: grilled zucchini

dinner: hamburgers w/ cheddar

s/f jello

i really NEED to stop eating so much at night. this is the first day of really trying!!

I'm still interested in participating, but am in a time crunch. I'm getting ready to take my elderly mom in for a few days to a week while she recovers for a bit of a fall. Will post when I have time.

POsting has drastically dropped since the menus got their own home. I wonder if folks don't know about this place?

I wondered that too, Angela. I always check the View New Posts link, and it pops up there. But most people may just check forums of particular interest to them.

Wa'il, if you're listening (this is a test ) Perhaps you could put up an announcement saying that there's now a Daily Menus forum?

Default I'd like to participate.

I usually post this in my journal but I can post it here, too.

BREAK: 3 oz tuna, oil drained with 1 tbsn salsa, 2 tbsn mayo, 1 tbsn chopped spring onion, bottle water, 2 cups of decaf w/ 15ml half n half each
LUNCH: 1 c diced turnip w/butter and pepper, sliced italian sausage, water
SUPPER: all beef weiners(checked ingredients), salad w/ ceasar dressing, water
SNACKS: sf jello, 2 oz cheddar, 5 green cocktail olives

I have always eaten a lot.

Creamless Cream of broccoli soup with 1 chopped up chicken thigh

Leftover Brussel sprouts, tomato and panir, 1 chicken thigh

2 Curried lamb shoulder chops, cauliflower, spinach, panir and tomato casserole

Parmesan and cumin gouda cheese
