Thumbs up ABC News with Peter Jennings

It seems that there will be a segment tomorrow on Peter Jennings' ABC Nightly News worth watching. From the trailers I've seen it looks like it will be about the previously untold dangers of carbohydrates. Of course I could be wrong but it looks quite promising so I will tape it…

I saw the trailers for it also. It seems to me they will also be talking about carbs and their link with diabetes. I am going to try and watch tonight!

I believe, but I am not positive that it comes on at 7:30 PM EST. I will try to check when the channel guide on the TV is working again...right now it says, data not available.

There are 6 hours between Britain & the east coast of US. So 12:30 AM (after midnight) your time is 6:30 PM in Toronto and New York. If you can get a Boston station, then it's only 5 hours difference. So you might see it at 11:30 PM

You will probably find quite a bit of information on their website. Go to www.abcnews.com after the show has aired. Maybe even several hours afterwards.

This will be very timely, in light of the latest dietary recommendations just released by the American Diabetic Association (ADA), that suggests eating cake, sugar and high-glycemic foods is just fine for someone with diabetes

Yes, it's very simple, the ADA says. And how do you accomplish that? "Just inject the corresponding needed amount of insulin!" Doesn't that make us all feel great? I'll dream of sweets and syringes tonight…

I am reading this on the 15th. Can someone who saw it give me (us) a brief (or lengthy ) summary of what was said about this subject. I'd be very interested.
Thanks ahead!
