Talking Need to drop 100 on Atkins, any Buddies?

I am new to this and could really use a buddy or two for support. I have set my long range goal to weigh 125 pounds, I weigh 225 pounds today and beginning Atkins Induction Tomorrow.

Hi Gwen! I'm in the same boat - did Atkins for a few months, but in my move over the ocean, dropped into poor eating habits and gained it back. I'm looking to lose the same amount and have just recently started back on induction.

Have you done other dieting before?

Good luck to us both!

I started out at 215 and am currently 180. My ultimate goal is to get back down to my lowest weight of 115 which would be a total loss of 100 lbs. I would be happy though weighing anywhere from 115-140. Good luck to you both!!! I am so tired of feeling fat and ugly. My daughter is 10 months old and I am just tired of carrying around this baby weight! I have been away from my hubby for the past year (he is in the Army) and when I see him in a few months I want to look GOOD!

Thank you and best of luck to you both! I have done Weight Watchers before and I also have done the low fat thing. Last year I just cut out all fats and lost 43 pounds but have since gained it back and then some! I think what depresses me the most is I weigh almost as much as I did when I gave birth to each of my children!! Thats horrid! LOL My kids are all teens now and I dont wanna sit and grow old and be fat and useless. I know that there are better things in store for me and that I have to stick to this plan. Im hoping that it works soon. My mom takes every chance she gets to let me know how much I need to loose some weight so Im gonna take her up on it! LOL

Gwen, I have also done WW before. I tried it again a few months ago and couldn't even stick to it for a week. Since my daughter was born I have tried so many different diets and I just can't get down past 170. It is sooo hard for me! I want to look and feel good about myself again. I know that I need to exercise more, that is my main problem.
