Default just a fad???

I read in the paper this morning that since the low carb fad is almost over, food companies are not making as many low carb options any more...can you believe it??? FAD??? Really, well maybe they should check up on the people who are sticking with this FAD. We are the ones who didn't eat much of their low carb frankenfoods in the first place. The people who think this is a fad are just folks who couldn't stick it out to see results!! (My opionion)

I think that the low-carb manufactured food fad is over, but low-carb eating was never a fad.

Franken foods just make you crave other foods anyway. Sticking to the diet by the book without meal substitutions is the ideal way to do it (and you see the best results) so who cares if the industry stops supporting our low carb practice... we dont NEED them!

I agree. I also believe low carb eating is becoming more mainstream and recommended more by Drs.

My dad has colon cancer, has seen numerous Drs, each of them knowing he's been doing Atkins for the last 2.5 years and they each told him to continue eating a high protein, low carb diet.

I think the FAD of eating frankenfoods is over. People who have truly made a lifestyle change understand whole foods is the way to really make the change.

Yes I've noticed my HFS stocks only 1 shelving unit of LC goods, used to be an entire aisle. Dont miss much except for some flax based hot cereals and pancakes.

If it is a fad, then perhaps it deserves a place in the World Guinness Book of Records for being quite possibly the longest running fad of all time.

I agree with all! If this is such a FAD why are we doing it still! Obviously, its a lifestyle that works for many! LOL! Gosh! People just amaze me! I love this WOE! Alot of the store like Cub stop carrying alot of LC foods, like there bread and some of the Atkins items. Even my Wal-Mart is starting to clear out some of there stuff! Bummer, less craving food for me then! No LC choclates to hinder my weight loss! Russell Stovers will always stay LC, they have been for years w/ the Sugar Free Candies!

I guess I am apart of the majority! LC ISN'T A FAD!!!!
