Lessara -- I've been wondering the same thing. I have a whole jar of arrowroot that I've had for years and only used a few times. I also wonder if it's still good, or does it have a shelf life?

Doesn't anybody but us know what arrowroot is?

Default Arrowroot Flour

Here's some information I found on the web about arrowroot.

When I first started lowcarbing I bought some arrowroot flour when I was shopping one day because I thought I had read where it was an acceptable product for lowcarbers. To make a long story short, I ended up reading up on arrowroot and felt it didn't belong in my new woe, so I took it back unopened.

Hope this helps some.

Thanks, Sharon. I'll probably just dump what I have left. I read somewhere on here that you can use protein powder as a thickener, so I may try that. I was wondering how I would use up what I have left, since I used to mix it with OJ & milk and drink it.
