Hi everyone,

I am hoping someone can help me. I want to use microsoft word to start my own cookbook. I don't know how to make catagories(cookies etc.) saving them so I can type in all my recipes to each catagory. I only want to make one folder for everything but several people I ask say I should make a folder for each catagory. I really don't want a bunch of folders for all my different catagories. I need help step by step. If someone can help I would be very thankful. Everytime I write to a site like this I am being asked to buy a cookbook program and I don't want to do that.
Please help if you can. Regards from
Caseykitty

Default Hello

I'm not a computer programmer or anything, but I think you would be better off if you did make different folders, it's easier. If you go to C drive for example and hit the new folder Icon. Then when you are about to save a recipe in Word, hit new folder and name it for example chicken recipes, Then you would still have one major folder holding all of the smaller folders with the recipes in each category.
