Default Im Baaaack!!!!!

Ok so its been along long time....
I was in limbo but then decided to stop trying the traditional low fat diet thinking that it would work for me...the moment I gave Atkins one last ditch effort it didnt let me down....1 week on and down 7....with my doodah starting maybe as we speak
So Im stubborn and I have to learn hard lessons....I dont like that about me why didnt I just stick with it....so now Im back again...and feeling good...
Now how the heck will I stay motivated and not so confused....
And my one and only problem that sent me looking for something else was the number 2 situation not happening......yes I mean no pooping .....before I get all the suggestions .......I have low carb diet fiber pills .......and I am taking them.....I have to resort to a laxative on a regular basis.....and since I dont want to picture myself when Im 40 with a colostomy bag due to over use of laxatives. ... I would like all and any suggestions....Im all ears...let it roll

How to stay motivated and not confused?
- follow your plan EXACTLY - no deviations.
- weigh ONCE a week and compare from week to week
- measure your body parts with a tape measure once a week.

It's amazing how that 'waiting' for the day keeps you legal.

REMEMBER THAT LCing is a CHEMICAL diet. ONE BITE WILL HURT.

You can't fool your liver into not counting carbage. IT KNOWS.
As to the 'lower end':
Flax seeds added to many things that you cook. (I call them colon scourer & they work quickly!)

Vitamin C - a gram or two a day.

Calcium and magnesium tablets - work well too.

Lots of water.

The first week or two, things may be sluggish as LCing is a 'low residue' diet.

Tofi said it perfectly! And believe me, Ive lived the one bite will hurt too many times!!!!! Also, they have sugar free metamucel, I know it has aspartame, but it does work effectively if you drink a glass in the am and one in the pm. Maybe just until things are more regular. Best of luck!

Taking a couple of flax oil capsules with each meal is helpful.
I also sprinkle whole flax seed generously on my dinner salad. I gives it a little crunch that I love.
Drink a ton of water.
I find the sugar free "Fiber Choice" wafers great. I just can't take drinking the liquid types, even the "Benefiber" they say doesn't have a taste. Yuk.

Thanks for all the info.....I had a mini break down yesterday and chowed down a bit....(on non atkins stuff) I think I spoke too soon about the TOM thing....so today I picked myself up and began at square one...with once again a new attitude...nothing really tasted that great either....Im hoping to not be a repeat offender.........I gotta remember stick to the program....with all that said I went this morning.....ugh.....
but thanks I will be picking up flax products.
