Thumbs down Centrum Low Carb Vitamins!!!!

OH GIVE ME A BREAK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!! Centrum has made new "Carb Assist" vitamins for us low-carbers.

Now we have "special" vitamins for our lifestyle! Because our WOE deprives us of all of our nutrients, you know.

Gee, I bet it will have three lifesaving ingredients: white flour, sugar, and partially hydrogenated soybean oil! Us low-carbers are seriously deficient in those nutrients, aren't we.

Wow, now everyone has officially tried to cash in on this "craze!"

Pitiful.

Did you notice it also contains sucrose and glucose?

I was being facetious but I guess I was right! lol

Wow, they are so helpful. Thanks, but I'll stick to my own starch and sugar free vitamins.

Most supplements in tablet form have traces of starches as binders....I already got blasted for taking the One-A-Day Weightsmart, but I'll stick my neck out and say it's NO worse than Atkins selling it's brand for $25 a bottle, three or four different kinds "suggested for use"...

Good catch on the iron, if you are on Atkins, you should not take any iron supplement.

I doubt it, w0rd... I lost most of my weight while taking a good, old-fashioned multivitamin, WITH iron..because that's what I had and I wasn't going to throw away a perfectly good bottle.

It isn't worth worrying about and DEFINITELY not worth getting ripped off for. Just take a good broad spectrum multi vit. - its a back up.

Here's a good explanation as to why too much iron is bad for you:
http://www.emmitsburgdispatch.com/2...octorword.shtml

I myself take a multi w/o iron from an all-natural company that doesn't add starches and fillers.
