Newbie from Illinois
Hello everyone. I am SO HAPPY I found this place. I look forward to starting my journal here and having some feeling of accountability.
Three years ago, at 23, I weighed 200 pounds. By cutting out fast food and drinking lots of water, I lost 50 pounds in a matter of months. I kept this weight off all these years but after all that it is now starting to come back. Since getting married six months ago I have been steadily climbing and am now back up to 170. I can't take it any longer. Last week at work I busted out the bottom of two pair of dress pants just by sitting down. These pants used to be baggy on me. Enough is enough!
Tomorrow is my 27th birthday and my present to myself is to reevaluate my lifestyle and get myself down to my goal weight of 130. I don't know where to start! I've never done the low/no carb thing or followed a structured diet. This lifestyle change starts tomorrow so I need to figure something out!
Anyhow, again, I am so happy to be here and I look forward to many successes and hope to be able to offer support to others as well. Thank you!!
